Method of Simultaneous Estimation of Nitazoxanide and Ofloxacin from Bulk and Tablet Dosage Form Using RP-HPLC

For the simultaneous determination of Nitazoxanide and Ofloxacin in tablet dosage form, a simple reverse phase liquid chromatographic method was developed validated. A mobile containing acetonitrile, methanol, 0.4 M citric acid (60:30:10, v/v/v) used for separation. Thermo C18 (4.6mm*250 mm, 5 ) column used, with flow rate 1 mL/min UV detection at 300 nm. ofloxacin had retention times 3.071 12.47 minutes, respectively. The described linear over concentration range 5-30 g/mL (r2>0.999) 2-12 (r2>0.998). mean percentage recovery 99.96% 101.05% Ofloxacin. limits (LOD) 0.3788 0.0929 g/mL, limit quantification (LOQ) Ofloxacin, respectively, 1.1479 0.2816 g/mL. study's findings revealed that proposed RP-HPLC is simple, fast, precise, accurate, cost effective, making it suitable routine bulk forms.
